Catch Her

I want to tell you
That I’m no good, for you
I’m no good, for me
But I’m good, you see

I can’t deal with irony
Nor tragedy
I can’t deal without a hand

And there goes yours
Whisk it briskly upon my face
Softly over my brow
Don’t leave me now

Let me get lost, but don’t lose me
Effort be damned, and damn the rest
Build up to and dwell, the water
Let it drive the mill, just take your fill

Now leave, but don’t leave me be
Because you have the power
To set me free

This sounds like a song.

You write such beautiful things.
